Follow the following tips to improve your Wi-Fi signal and generally improve the video quality and reduce choppiness.
- Felik is designed to be connected to your home Wi-Fi network. While Felik can generate its own Wi-Fi hotspot, it will not perform as well as when it is connected to your router.
- The easiest way to boost the signal between your Wi-Fi router and Felik is to move them closer together.
- Check the list of potential sources of Wi-Fi interference. Read more about Wi-Fi interference and try changing your Wi-Fi channel to move to a less congested one..
- Try lowering your video resolution. Setting the video resolution to 240P will send 1/10th the data used by 720P, which can significantly improve video latency.
- The video resolution is especially critical when accessing Felik over the Internet. When the video resolution is set to 720P the amount of traffic over the cellular network is close to 1 MB / second. Your home Wi-Fi may be able to handle this, but your cellular connection may not always accomodate this level of throughput.
